South African version of the diet to 'spice it up a bit.

· EAT AS MUCH SOUP EVERYDAY AS YOU
CAN! THE MORE YOU EAT, THE MORE YOU LOOSE
· IF YOU WANNA GO INTO WEEK 2,
ALLOW 1 CHEAT DAY TO BOOST THE METABOLISM
· IF YOU MUST DRINK ALCOHOL OR NEED
TO, THEN HAVE CLEAN WHITE SPIRITS OR 2 GLASSES OF ORGANIC WINE
· YOU CAN HAVE BLACK COFFEE WITH SWEETENER AND WATER ONLY
· IF YOU CHEAT. DON’T STRESS. START
THE DAY YOU CHEATED OVER AGAIN ON THE FOLLOWING DAY, BUT DON'T.
TAKE WALKS, IT DETOXES AND HELPS YOU LOSE QUICKER

SOUP DIET
:
900g
Tomatoes diced or 3 tinned tomato+onion mix or whole tomato tins
1 bunch
celery finely chopped
6 large
onions chopped
2kg
fresh/frozen broccoli and or cauliflower
1,5kg
carrots chopped (OPTIONAL)
1 green
pepper chopped
2 beef
blocks
1 pkt
white onion soup ( *I also add 1 pkt spicy tomato soup)
Put all
ingredients (except pkt soup) in pot, add 3 lt of water, add salt, pepper &
parsley to taste.
Cook
until veg is soft. Now add pkt soup (dissolve in little water before adding to
pot).
Turn heat
down and simmer for 10 min.
Eat as
much soup as you like, when hungry. The more soup you eat, the more weight you
may lose.
Day 1:
Eat as
much soup & fresh fruit as you like.
No
bananas.
Day 2:
Eat as
much of the soup & other vegetables as you like.
No beans,
peas or mealies (corn)
No fruit
1 Baked
potato with butter or use the butter to stir fry the veg.
Day 3:
As much
of the soup, fruit and vegetables as you like.
No
potato. NO BUTTER
Day 4:
Eat as
much soup as you like, bananas & fat free milk (1 glass for each banana)
Day 5:
Eat as
much soup as you like.
500g lean
Steak + tomatoes as you like (you can split this meal and have half for
lunch & half for supper).
Day 6:
Eat as
much soup, vegetables & steak as you like.
No
potatoes.
Day 7:
Eat as
much soup, vegetables & brown rice as you like.
You may
drink unsweetened fruit juice.
# By now
you would have lost 5-8kg if you stuck to this eating plan 100%.
ENJOY !!
Risks
Side effects from the diet may
include dizziness, light-headedness, and flatulences (intestinal gas). The
latter may be a social risk due to embarrassment related to passing gas in public.
Common versions of the soup recipe are high in salt. Dieters who must restrict
their sodium intake should discuss variations with their physician.
