Omega 3 Salmon fillets and nutritious broccoli.

I thought I would share my dinner recipe with you guys, it was AMAZING!!!

Omega 3 Salmon fillets and nutritious broccoli.

  • Salmon fillets, no skin
  • Tablespoon of honey, soya sauce, sesame oil (optional), white wine
  • Steamed broccoli, made in very little water.
  • Fat-free smooth cottage cheese as a dip
Mix the honey, soy, oil, and wine in a small frying pan. Allow this to reduce until the honey is just burnt. Add the fillets and sear until sealed.
Serve quickly with broccoli and cottage cheese.
Optional:
If you want to include a carb, add some wasabi mash.
I only do this before 4pm, then no carbs except for a glass of wine.
Wasabi Mash Potatoes:
2 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
1/2 cup ff milk
2 tablespoons ff plain cottage cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons wasabi paste (or more to taste)
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add some salt and bring to boil. Reduce the heat then simmer until soft. Drain.
Add the milk to the potatoes and mash with a potato masher. Add cheese, salt and pepper to taste and wasabi paste.
